My birthday is this coming Saturday, August 1. I have been working my etsy store since Feb., 2006, part time. That was all the time I could give it. My birthday is Saturday and it is time to make changes. I have retired from working my farm, I still have all my beloved llamas and shetlands, but now another family member lives on the farm and takes care of them. I moved into a new house and finally have things the way I want them. Now is the time to add another title to my list, wife, mother, grandmother, friend and now Fiber Artist.
My birthday is this Saturday and I am going to start a new phase in my life. Could not have picked a better job, with great people and new friends.

- I call myself a Fiber Artist. Working with various wools, fiber from my llamas and shetland sheep is what I enjoy doing every day. Spinning, knitting and dying wool, to me is a great way to spend a day. My custom dyed rovings and yarns are one of a kind. Dying is done in small lots. The colors come from what seem's right for that day. I never have a plan, when I set out to dye or spin yarn. Some how it all works.
